WHY SADES CREATES?
Every crochet piece requires long hours and attention to detail; It is one of the few things technology can not recreate. As an artist, I love this, but as an avid shopper, it breaks my heart seeing crocheted pieces in stores for a cost too low to make it possible that the maker is getting paid sufficiently. Sades Creates helps to provide crochet pieces sustainably. On top of eliminating underpaid labor, we strive to eliminate textile waste through our products being packaged in 100% compostable mailers and making each item with either 100% cotton or 100% recycled cotton.
THE FACE BEHIND THE BRAND
Hi! I'm Sadie, and I will be a Freshman at the University of Alabama's Honors College for Business Management this Fall! When I am not working on Sades Creates, I typically spend my time at the gym, dance studio, or by the pool with my best friends. As a practical person, I quickly got bored of crocheting animals and blankets when I started in 2021. After much trial and error, I fell in love with designing, making, and wearing my wardrobe. I carefully create each piece, with the hope that this item will become a staple in your wardrobe. Sades Creates allows me to share my creations with your closet, while promoting sustainable crochet fashion, and allowing me to experience the world of business firsthand.
